Zambia is commonly regarded as one of the most beautiful, friendly, diverse on the entire African continent. Zambia has more natural water resources than any other southern African country, not to mention the famous Zambezi River. This 8-day highlights of Zambia is great for all members of the family and the lodge Sussi & Chuma also offers child friendly game drives, child friendly menus and evening meals and also supports the local village and school in Livingstone as well.
From Livingstone Airport you will take a short transfer with a Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours representative to your lodge.
The Royal Livingstone is located on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, overlooking the Zambezi River and with direct access to the Victoria Falls which is one of the Seven natural wonders of the world. There is lots on offer at The Royal Livingstone including a Health Spa in a tranquil environment, a restaurant in a traditional Zambian restaurant, shuttle services to Livingstone town. Great setting with grass banks on the Zambezi River for you to watch amazing sunrises or sunsets.
On day 2 we have included a Guided Tour of the Falls on the Zambian side which will take between 2 to 3 hours. You will get to see the Falls with a knowledgeable guide for an unforgettable experience.

After a gourmet breakfast with a view of the Zambezi River, you will be collected by your driver and taken back to Livingstone Airport, from the airport you will change vehicles and you will be transferred to your next lodge in Zambia which is 12kms upstream from Victoria Falls.
We have chosen this lodge as it is the only lodge in the area to offer guided walking safaris is in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and accommodation is in tree-houses connected by wooden walkways set amongst the trees.
They offer game drives in custom-built 4x4 safari vehicles into the National Park and guests can be lucky enough to see the rare wild dog on occasion in the Park. Also offers guests a walking tour of Victoria Falls, canoeing on the Zambezi, Sundowner Cruise, a local school & village tour where guests can hire bicycles to use to tour the village and seasonal fishing.

After your morning activity, usually a game drive or walking safari, take a short transfer back to Livingstone to either the airport or alternative destination for your onward journey.
